I KEEP MY HEALTH

   To celebrate the 7 April World Health Day,s ince the healthcare professionals cannot even come to school to provide education due to the pandemic and our students' visits to the health institution may be risky in terms of health, the nurse(Fatma YILDIZ) in charge of education of the Aydın/Germencik 1 health center made a presentation about health to the students of Adem Polat (Aliyya İzzet Begovic School) and my students at the live lesson.  With this presentation, the students learned about hygiene and personal care. https://youtu.be/Onnhq58akY4  

  We learned that smoothie is a healthy drink made with natural sugar, we get the vitamins we need from fruits, protein from milk and yogurt, and carbohydrates from natural sugars (such as honey). While my students made their own smoothies at home, we all made strawberry smoothies together in the classroom.

  My students have learned the following for safe internet use: 1) that we should not share our private information 2) We need to verify the information we have found from at least three sources. 3) Which website uses which extension 4) that we should use our language correctly 5) we need to report the bully 6) we need to be kind 7) we need to create strong passwords 8) How to distinguish malicious ads OUR ACTIVITIES:

  My students prepared sıkma, keşkek, onion pastry, lentil patties, green lentil pastry, meat casserole from ourtraditional Turkish dishes and investigated whether it was healthy.
